Also keep in mind, this Campbell edition is aimed towards AP Bio students.

Tips that Actually helped me pass the updated 2020 AP Biology course: - Your Campbell Textbook Account has a series of testbank questions (under the tab labelled "Study Area" for every chapter. Make sure to study those! - On top of just studying vocab and concept ideas, Quizlet also has a multitude of testbank questions from past AP Biology students that teachers will draw test/quiz questions from. You can find these with a little bit of effort. Just keep in mind that the Chapter numbers from your unit may not be the same chapter numbers referenced in your course syllabus (new editions of Campbell switch up the orders and all). Here are some examples of testbanks you may find: https://quizlet.com/96991407/chapter-11-cell-communication-flash-cards/ https://quizlet.com/107252733/chapter-12-the-cell-cycle-flash-cards/ https://quizlet.com/ca/482711132/chapter-13-meiosis-and-sexual-life-cycle-flash-cards/ https://quizlet.com/282047053/chapter-14-mendel-and-the-gene-idea-flash-cards/ NOTE: sometimes, you may even get lucky and find the quizlet testbank that just happens to contain all the questions that will be used in the test and quizzes in class. HOWEVER, do not just look at the questions and answers. You need to make sure to understand the core concepts and theories that reason the answers to be correct. These testbanks will do very little good for your AP Collegeboard exam, which is the score that matters in the end.
- Keep in mind that you have a whole bunch of AP Biology students at your disposal. Don't be scared to ask past AP students for study tips or notes as they will be more than happy to help!
- If you know you aren't very good at memorizing concepts for all the Units of the updated AP Biology Course and Exam (listed below), at least aim to get really good for the first 5 units. Those units contain most all the key concepts you can reuse for the remaining 3 units. Provided below in pdf form are some study guides for the first 6 units used by prior AP Biology students.
Unit 1: Chemistry of Life Unit 2: Cell Structure and Function Unit 3: Cellular Energetics Unit 4: Cell Communication and Cell Cycle Unit 5: Heredity Unit 6: Gene Expression and Regulation Unit 7: Natural Selection Unit 8: Ecology Below are some links and files you might want to look at!!! I strongly encourage you use these resources. They definitely help.
